Sourcing Guide
Common matching and sourcing notes for African fleets, workshops and distributors buying mixed heavy duty truck spare parts.

Africa market buyers often source parts for fleets, repair workshops and regional distributors. Orders commonly include fast-moving maintenance parts and durable replacement parts together, because trucks may work under heat, dust, heavy load and long-distance service conditions.
A practical order may include fuel filters, oil filters, air filter assemblies, brake parts, clutch parts, suspension parts, cab parts and electrical sensors. For maintenance parts, buyers usually need repeatable supply and clear replacement references. For mechanical parts, photos and dimensions are often needed when the part number is uncertain.
Truck model names can vary between countries and workshops. HOWO, Sinotruk HOWO, HOWO A7 and HOWO T7H should not be treated as the same vehicle without checking the exact application. Shacman F3000 and later Shacman models may use different components. Foton Auman, Aumark, Forland and Aoling also refer to different vehicle families. Use the model name for search, then confirm by part number and old-part photo.
When a workshop cannot provide a clean part number, request photos from several angles: front, back, side, thread, connector, mounting holes and any label or casting number. For filters, include the top view and sealing area. For assemblies, show the installation position and pipe or connector layout.
Separate the list into urgent repair items, regular maintenance stock and items to confirm. This helps decide which products should be quoted first and which can wait for photo confirmation. It also helps combine items into one economical shipment when packing size and availability make sense.
Send quantity, destination country, preferred packing, target delivery time and whether neutral packing is acceptable. If the order is for workshop stock, include the truck brands and models you service most often. If the order is for a fleet, provide the truck model list and common failure parts.
The online catalog is a starting point for matching. If the exact part is not shown, send the old part photos and reference numbers. Related parts can still be checked and added to the same mixed quotation when the application can be confirmed.
