TF 0359 and TF 0360 have the same recorded diameter and thread clue, but their recorded heights and reference numbers differ. TF 0353 and TF 0354 share an M16 x 1.5 thread clue while their body sizes differ. These are practical reasons to retain every number and measurement rather than replacing one code with the next code in the list.
Take a straight photograph of the old filter's mounting base. Include the central threaded opening, sealing ring, outer plate and every visible inlet or outlet hole. The photograph helps compare the base layout with the replacement and is especially useful when the printed code is incomplete.
Do not rely only on the thread designation. The sealing face, outer diameter and filter height also need to agree with the service position.
